Le cygne, masculine noun: Swan
No matter where you go, fashion is always around you. It is an art form, included in cultures and regions worldwide. It's in our blood, past, future, and everything in between.
And turns out... it is also a headache.
What core do you fit into? Are you cottagecore? Barbiecore? Dark Academia-core? Clean girl-core? Where do you get your clothes? Because if you get it from fast fashion brands, that says a lot about your character. But, oh, you don't have enough money to buy from sustainable brands? Then go to your local thrift shop! But everything there has become infiltrated with fast fashion brands with garments that are constructed with horrible fabrics and everything frays and tears and pills nowadays, what can you do?
There are so many issues with the fashion industry, yet we cannot help but keep it alive because it is such an important part of our lives. And I think these issues should be brought to light.
Enough rambling, let me introduce myself. My name is Bree, and I will be analyzing all things fashion industry, not just fashion itself. This post will be all about me, however!
Traveler

One thing you'll learn about me is I love to travel. Experiencing different places and cultures always piques my curiosity, and you realize how big the world is once you see places different from where you live which opens up your mind to so many different things.
Foodie

I enjoy trying all types of food! It's art combined with science, and food can connect people regardless of culture or language. There is a history to any food you try, dating back hundreds or even thousands of years.
Architecture

Architecture speaks to me just as much as fashion does. I visited London, where the photo above was taken, and the historic architecture is beautiful when you see it with your own eyes. It fascinates me how buildings from hundreds of years ago can be built so intricately on massive scales.
Artistic

I've been drawing since I was very young, being inspired by family members who drew as well. It allows me to express myself and my creativity and reminds me that everyone is different and unique. You do not have to be like someone else to be successful.
Shoe Enthusiast

And dare I say I love shoes more than I love fashion... though I won't say it is the most important component of an outfit, it can definitely make or break an outfit. I always notice a pair of platforms, heels, or sneakers when no one else does, and I will forever appreciate them.
Now that that's all out of the way, we can focus solely on the fashion industry! I hope you continue to stick around for upcoming posts and interact! The door is always open.
Xoxo, Bree
